CLIENT PROJECT

Low Orbit

A number of years ago, NASA put a webcam on the outside of the International Space Station and published a live feed of it. I was so inspired by this idea that my friend Jesal and I worked together to create a data visualization website called Low Orbit. It included the full-screen live stream, as well as various data points about the ISS like current speed, altitude, GPS coordinates, and number of astronauts on board. It was a beautiful project to celebrate a live view of our pale blue dot. The project is, unfortunately, no longer active, but it was continously live for over 5 years.
